Olakunle is the Group Managing Director of Dangote Industries Limited (DIL).
He was appointed to the Board of DIL in 2001 and has since been instrumental to the growth of the parent company and its subsidiaries. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University lle-Ife (1983) and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
He joined DIL in 1990, after six years at PWC. He has held several management positions in DIL, including Financial Controller and Head of Strategic Services.
He has deep finance and accounting experience and brings substantial experience in finance, mergers and acquisitions to the Board
